Jessie is a first generation Vietnamese American mom living in the Bay Area.  She started em bé books - em bé means baby in Vietnamese - to teach her toddlers basic words and concepts.  As em bé books and her kids grew, Jessie began writing playful children's books that highlight the richness of Vietnamese culture, and to inspire a new generation of Vietnamese children to be curious about their ancestral land while learning conversational Vietnamese.
